The following officers may waive or waive the visa fee in the following cases:-–
(a) In the case of clauses (a), (b) and (c) of Rule 31 – the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nepalese missions abroad and immigration officers when issuing diplomatic or formal visas as entry visas,
(b) in the case of clauses (e) and (f) of rule 31 – the Director-General
(c) in the case of clauses (d) and (g) of rule 31 – the Director General on the recommendation of the Ministry concerned. (d) in the case of clause (h) of rule 31 – Immigration Officer
(e) the condition of clause (j) of rule 31,
(1) For one week – Director General or Immigration Officer
(2) For a period exceeding one week – Ministry of Home Affairs
